their should be like a ^ ^ ^ ^ type of ,looks like sharp teeth theirs a line on your pully that should line up to one of the teeth not sure witch one it is.it should be located just abouve you timing chin cover.

First, check your air filter and O2 sensor. Both probably need to be replaced. If the HC is up, change the plugs and wires too. If the vehicle is carburated you probably don't have an O2 sensor.
