Idle adjustment AnswerOn the top of the throttle body, (I'm not trying to insult anybody, but on your car it says '16 VALVE EFI') in big red and black letters. You will see a hole slightly above and to the right of those words. A flat head screwdriver will turn the screw that is inside. This screw allows a little more air to pass around the throttle plate, hence, increasing your idle speed. Hope that helps. I know in some states, if you idle is too high, your car won't pass the emissions test. The test won't even initialize. I recommend setting it to around 800 RPM, or slightly less. The only reason you may need to turn it up more than that, is perhaps, on a car with an automatic transaxle, since when it is in gear, the idle can drop dramatically, and when you accelerate, the engine may stop. Usually on high milage vehicles.
