These types of questions are commonly asked if you have to work in the customer service field.
think back to a specific time when this happened to you, then tell the interviewer the specific situation.
example:
There are a number of times when I had to calm a customer. One specific example was when........ and the customer was upset because.......so after I reviewed the situation, I was able to......and provided an answer within the 24 hours as promised.....
this is a great question. what the listener is looking for is for you to tell them a specific example where you had to deal with this and how you successful handled the issue. Use the STAR method in answering by providing a specific S= Situation, describe the T= Task or Problem, they tell me your specific A= Action and finall the R= Result or outcome. What did you learn and how would you handle it the next time. See a site called Careego for some great ideas.
The first step to satisfying an upset customer is to assess the situation and determine what has caused the upset. Once that is done, steps should be taken to make the customer experience a good one, whether it be letting them have a replacement item free of charge, or a discount or coupon on future purchases. The thing to keep in mind is the customer is always right and word of mouth will make or break a business.
I enrolled in an online coding course to improve my programming skills. I spent a few hours each week practicing coding exercises and building small projects. By consistently setting aside time to learn and practice, I was able to enhance my coding abilities and gain confidence in tackling more complex programming challenges.
