you are wrong, you don't have a bleeder valve
The system was designed to be factory filled and bled. No bleed screw. You can bleed the system but it requires dismantling the slave and master cylinders and is not recommended

If you look hard enought there is a way to bleed the clutch but its a whole process....,they come pre bleed from the factory so theres no manufacture instructions
There is no switch which will keep it from shifting. Instead, the clutch is not releasing the power of the engine from the transmission. Bleed the clutch.
If you did not open any brake lines and only replaced the pads there is no need to bleed the system.
from the furthest caliper from the master cylinder. Start with that one and move closer.

It is important to bleed a clutch master and slave cylinder to make sure all of the air is out of the lines. For a 1989 Chevy you would need to know model you had, and then find the repair manual for that specific vehicle.
there dry clutch's, run a cable. no fluid. .:. you can't bleed it. :)
