What engine? and ensure it is a bad gasket, not an intake plentum.
It cost us about $700 cnd. That was a shop that charged about $75/hr.
Get a very good mechanic and dont plan on getting your car back the same day. Or buy a new gasket and remove the intake and diy.

extremely difficult without removing the engine. i have seen some drop the engine down about a foot by disconnecting the motor and transmission mounts & did not disconnect alot of lines and were able to change the intake gasket.
you need to take the intake maniflod off, and the 2 screws on the back of the manifold. total time 2.5 hours, replace intake gasket or reseal it...

The thermostat is located top hose coming out of the radiator. You will find two bolts mounted on the intake.
