The simple answer is with a lot of fun. The manual says just unclip the fixing spring, remove the old one & then re-fit a new one & put the spring clip back. What they do not tell you is on my 416 P reg, you cannot see the fixing pins for the clip due the way the light is made, so it I had to use a torch & a mirror to see where to do it. The Haynes manual also cheats by having the light unit out of the car to do it. If you want to take the light out instead again that's fun as the bumber has to come off!!!! Cheers Ahab
You can find a diagram regarding the installation of a replacement ball, on your Range Rover 400, at most Range Rover dealerships. Most auto-parts stores will have the diagram.
Hi I really would like to know this myself. I can't work out if the bumper has to come off or the skirt. If you can just remove the glass it is possible I could get away with that. If not how do you change the indicator bulb?
how often do i have to change the timing belt on my rover400
open the boot, unclip the boot covering near whichever bulb you need to replace. Here you'll see a black box where the bulbs are situated. Look towards the top middle of the box and you will see a small flat bit poking out. press this down towards the floor fairly firmly and it will click into place. then you can pull the bulb housing unit out of place and remove the bulb you need to change. Take the bulb with you to the car spares shop and compare it to the ones you are looking at to get the right bulb.
The Hydraulic clutch fitted to the rover 400 is a sealed unit and the only thing that you can do is to replace the complete unit
There are two. Just remove the two phillip screws on the side that is blown and change the bulb.
A Rover 400 can be purchased as a second hand vehicle from dealerships or online classifieds as it is no longer in production. They were originally sold in the UK and would be more commonly found there or in Australia under the name Rover 416i.
If memory serves me correct. On a 400sdi t reg, you have to take the front wheel plastic liner out to get to the sockets. I think they are shaped so that you can undo the front part and bend it back to gain access to the bulb sockets. hope this helps.
Remove the Fuel Tank
Yes, provided the bulb types are compatible with the 400 watt ballast.
There is no 115 volt, 100 amp, or 400 amp switch on the dash of a 2008 Tacoma.
