If your "left blinker" is on, to change it, "push up" the blinker arm that is on your steering wheel. If your right blinker is on, push the arm down to change it to the right blinker. This works on All Cavaliers and most other cars made in the U.S.
Simply look behind the light (from inside the trunk or under the hood), and you access the bulb from their. turn the backing of the bulb to release it and simply change the bulb. A simple fix.

You remove the headlight to gain access to the back of the blinker housing, you can reach into the back of it and pull out the light and cable it's attached to. It's a pain.
Unscrew the bulb from the back of the light assy. If you have to you may need to remove it from the vehicle. Remove head light assembly(2 screws) Easy access to bulb/socket.

It comes out the back of the light housing.
