How do you change a coolant temperature sending unit on a 1995 Pontiac Firebird and where is it located?

Most General Motors vehicles are pretty generic. It should be located with or very close to the thermostat housing on the front of the motor above the water pump. It will screw out and in as a unit just take your time and watch your threading.
