first remove the light cover then just twist the bulb and it should come right off.
^^ this info is wrong. You'll damage the socket if you twist the bulb. You need to pull the bulb out; it takes a bit of work, I managed to do it with a pair of pliars being very careful not to break the bulb itself (if you did I don't suppose it would be a problem since you're replacing it anyway). Then, you just pop in the replacement bulb and replace the cover. I did it on my 2001 camaro, though I can't imagine the 2000 being much different.
use a mirror to change the path of light.
No pure mirror refracts. Refraction is caused by a change of the medium through which the light passes, which is accompanied by change of refractive index (change in the velocity of the light).
How to change mirror light/ signal on 2011 f250
Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond both carry the replacement bulbs (both blue or clear) for the Conair Lighte Makeup Mirror.

A light ray will bounce off the mirror and onto a flat surface try it!
You will need to remove the 1998 Chevy Camaro brake light wiring harness. Remove the brake light retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new brake light.
Warning lights come on when there is an issue. A Oil change light with turn off when an oil change has taken place.
wave length
how do you replace the bulb of a volvo v70xc 2001 side mirror?
Nothing. The focal length is defined as point where all of the light converges after passing through the lens ( for a convex mirror)and only depends on the mirror's curvature. So changing the incident light ray will cause no change in the focal length of the mirror.
Adjust mirror so that you have the most clearance between mirror and outside of mirror frame. Use a small screwdriver between the mirror and frame to depress the clip/s holding the light in place while pulling on light body from outside mirror frame. Having someone hold a light so you can easily see inside the mirror frame will be helpful. Change the light assembly or the bulb and pop back in place in mirror frame being careful to watch the wires so as not to damage them.
