you have to buy a special wrench, buy a new belt, stick wrench under hood to a nut that will loosen the old belt, take old belt off, pull on wrench again, feed belt back onto pulleys (draw a diagram first so you know how to reinstall it), remove wrench, done!
You do NOT need a special wrench (at least for '03-06). You do need a 17mm wrench or socket to release the tension of the tensioner pulley so you can slip off/on the belt.

Removing the serpentine belt on a Pontiac Aztek requires loosening the adjustment pulley. Once the pulley is loose the serpentine will have enough slack to come off.
It is located on the engine block where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. To get at it you need to remove the serpentine belt and alternator.

To change the serpentine belt on a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville, loosen the tensioner pulley and remove the old belt. The tensioner pulley is the wheel in the belt system that has a bolt through the middle in a slot that can be adjusted. Put the new belt on and tighten up the pulley.
