It is a royal pain. You have to remove the ternsioner pully and bracket. Fan and fan shroud. And also the hard cooling line that runs to the thermostat housing. you have to do all this before you can get the stat housing bolts out. Fun Fun Fun. I know this because I am doing it right now and am trying to find an easier way...but there isn't
