I have a 2000 w/ a 2.4 engine. The other day I was driving to work and my wife called my cell and asked why there was a big puddle of water in the driveway...it was the water pump! I am a garage mechanic and I took my car to a pro...there is no way I would have been able to fix it. That is my suggestion. I have a 2000 w/ a 2.4 engine. You must remove the timing belt to get to water pump.
How do i change out a water pump on a 1999 playmonth breeze/engine 2.4
It is inside the front of the engine, driven by the timing belt.
it is in the block behind the timing cover. the timing belt drives the water pump so you have to remove the timing components to install the water pump.
Plymouth does not have reset switches.
Your water pump is damaged...have it replace its a big job you might want as well change your timing belt when you do it..
Inside the tank
Since the Plymouth Breeze came only with a four cylinder, the oil pump would be driven directly off the crankshaft at the front of the motor.
It is in the fuel tank.
The fuel pump is in the fuel tank.
It is under the plastic covers on the passenger side of the engine, driven by the timing belt.
It could.It could.
