on the millenia, there is only one way. drop the tank.
It's an integral part of the intank fuel pump assembly. It's an integral part of the intank fuel pump assembly.
Yes, if you have a fuel pressure regulator.
It does not have a fuel filter. Only a screen on the intank fuel pump.
it is part of the intank fuel pump.
why would you want to.... without a fuel pump, there will be no fuel, no ignition, no rpm, no power, no forward motion, no fun.
a factory 1990 mustang has an intank electric fuel pump not a mechanical hope this helps
It an intank fuel pump, right hand side near back seat under an oval cover.
I suspect you have a short in the related wiring harness.
Intank fuel pump and/or airflow meter also break system check valve.
01 SANTA FE HAS AN INTANK FUEL FILTER THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A LIFETIME FILTER.
pump located on top of fuel tank just behind rear seat on driver side, to access pump, remove foam with three push-to-lock screws holding the foam running along the back of the seat, be careful not to break the foam (like I did!) then 4 Philip screws to remove floor panel to review the top of the fuel tank, there are about 8x 8mm hex nuts holding the complete intank fuel pump and fuel gauge.
The simple answer is yes, but it is tricky. The 350 with TBI has an intank pump set to produce low pressure about 13-15lbs. There is an integral fuel regulator in the TBI unit that limits running pressure to about 13lbs. This pump is also a "push type" pump, meaning it needs to be near to the fuel supply - in fact actually immersed in the fuel is best. You must get a fuel pump that does both push and pull to mount out on the frame as it will 1st need to bring fuel up out of the tank into the pump and then push it on to the TBI unit - all at the approx correct pressure. In addition, you must move the pump wiring so that the pump is primed automatically for 2 seconds when the key is turned on etc - just like the intank one. Finally, if the in-line pump draws more amperage to run (because it now is doing more work to go both ways), then you may blow fuses or burn up existing wiring. A lot of work for maybe no benefit, if you are just trying to sidestep replacing the intank pump.
