Take off the old one - Put on the new one - Refill the fluid - Bleed the system - Refill the fluid again.
Always best to bleed both sides if you change a brake line. EG: Both front or both rear.
front brake light switch is in housing behind the brake lever, rear switch is on left side of bike( as though you are sitting on it) under the oil tank, just follow the brake line as it is a hydralic swith "T"ed in to the rear brakes
Could be a restricted/damaged brake hose or brake line on the left front.
Remove the line and replace it. Then make sure to keep the master cylinder full while you & a helper bleed the front brake caliber. Be sure and use brake line tools and not open-end wrenches or you will damage the brake lines.

Raise it up on jack stands, disconnect the brake line, pinch off the brake line with a set of vice grips, unbolt the calipers. The rotor simply pulls out at this point.
