How do you change headlights on a 1999 Honda Civic?

The passenger side is the easiest to change, in fact that's how I figured out how to open the driver side. In fact you may need somebody with normal or below normal sized hands to do the driver side. The passenger side has more room for hands and a clean line of sight. Steps 1. Unplug the rubber connector at the back-end of the bulb. This is the 3-pin prong with wires. Remember the connector & bulb's orientation (center pin on top side). 2. Pry, pull the rubber covering around the bulb. It comes off easily. 3. Look inside and press the spring loaded assembly to release the bulb. Carefully notice how the spring locks in. You will have to set it back, without direct sight on the driver side. 4. Pull out the old, put in the new one the same way. Reverse the steps above to finish. 5. Lock the spring back on (there is a little nook where it fits in) 6. Put the rubber cover back on 7. Attach the connector.
