you will need to pull the drain plug, then take off the oil filter, then replace the oil plug and the new filter, finally put your new oil in.
its 2.5 quarts.

Poor upkeep try cleanig the airfilter if that doesent work try cleaning out the carburetor I have a yamaha 350 bruin I had the same problem

The oil plug is under the oil filter ...straight bolt ..14 mill..
I have a Yamaha 350 big bear, and differential drain plug is on the bottom of the differential. Just remove the plug and let it drain, put the plug back in and fill it back up... i use just regular gear oil
If the carburetor is cleaned on the Yamaha Bruin 350 and it will idle but stall when given gas, it could be that the float is sticking. The carburetor may also need to be adjusted by turning the adjustment screw so that it is not getting too much gas when revved.

The type of oil being used in a Yamaha 350 series ATV depends on the temperature where the vehicle is kept. For colder areas 5w-40 oil is preferred, but for hotter temperatures 10w-40 is better.
