Set the Goldwing on it's center stands. Directly in the center of the bike, between the frame and the front tire, is a threaded plug, directly under the canister for the oil filter. Slowly remove this plug, placing an appropriate oil pan underneath, and allow it to drain. Then remove the oil filter canister, allowing the oil to flow into the oil pan. Remove the oil filter, and place new filter onto the bolt (It will be a tight fit, but make sure it is seated fully). Replace the oil cannister O-Ring, and smooth a drop of oil over it. Replace the cannister onto the engine, tighten 1/8 turn past hand tight. Replace the oil drain plug, Remove the oil filler plug, located on the right hand side, and fill 3.9 quarts. Verify the oil level through the oil sight glass, Set the Goldwing on it's center stands.
