A diesel engine doesn't have spark plugs or spark plug wires.
A diesel engine ignites through compression, not through spark...
Not sure what you mean by change the ignition on a diesel, diesel engines don't have spark plugs, spark plus wires, coil, etc.... If you are asking about the ignition switch, it is mounted on top of the steering column on most pre 2000, after that they are located in the steering column.
Are you referring to spark plug wires
Change the spark plugs and wires... Change the spark plugs and wires...
The spark plug wires on your 1994 Chevrolet Caprice are quite easy to change. The spark plug wires simply lift off on each end. Put the new spark plug wires on and push until you feel a click.
There are no spark plugs in a diesel engine therefor no plug wires thus no distributor and no coil.
No. However, newer plug wires can be extremely difficult to remove without damaging them.

It screws into the turbocharger. Look for wires running to the turbo.
Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plugs wires and boots and remove the spark plugs. Put in the spark plugs, replace the spark plug wires and boots, and connect the battery.
Yes, if the spark plug wires can be connected to the distributor and works.
it could be a number of things...im no diesel mechanic but check your spark plugs and spark plugs wires, it seems your battery is ok if the car turns over...it may not be firing if the car doesnt start...so my 1st guess would be to check if ur getting any spark at the spark plugs there is only glow plugs not spark plugs. were talken bout a diesel right?
