This is one of the easier jobs that you will find. There are only four wires and they are all the same length. Just remove them one at a time and put the new one on in the same place. You may need a leverage tool to help pull the old ones out, and use the grease supplied with the new ones on the boots of the wires to help them seal and to make them easier to remove next time. Read and follow the instructions on the box. If they tell you anything different from what I have told you here, do that. Good luck! --Ken
It depends on the year as the older Foresters had different lengths - not sure about the more current models. Do them ONE @ A TIME, and compare the new wire length w/the old wire to ensure the correct wire is used.

New spark plugs and possibly plug wires.
If you have no spark on the 1991 Subaru Legacy, you should check the spark plugs and spark plug wires for replacement. You should also check the battery and ignition for replacement.
The spark plugs are in the engine of the car. Open the hood and locate the ignition coil at the top center of the engine. There are 4 very thick wires attached to it, with 2 running left and 2 running right. Each of these wires leads to a spark plug. If you want to change the spark plugs you will need to remove the windshield washer bottle on the left side and air intake ducting on the right. Tools needed include a 5/8" spark plug socket, a ratchet, and several lengths of extensions for the ratchet.

Change the spark plugs and wires... Change the spark plugs and wires...
Changing ignition coil on a Subaru consists of removing four capscrews, four sparkplug wires, and one clip-on electrical connector then putting the new coil in, attaching the wires and tightening the screws. No mystery here and the job is easier than changing wiper blades. Much easier. --Ken
The spark plug wires on your 1994 Chevrolet Caprice are quite easy to change. The spark plug wires simply lift off on each end. Put the new spark plug wires on and push until you feel a click.
No. However, newer plug wires can be extremely difficult to remove without damaging them.
Follow any of the spark plug wires from the spark plug to the top of the engine and they all will meet at the coil pack
Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plugs wires and boots and remove the spark plugs. Put in the spark plugs, replace the spark plug wires and boots, and connect the battery.
Yes, if the spark plug wires can be connected to the distributor and works.
