a 93 tercel which most likey has a the stock 3e-e engine doesnt have an egr system.
You more than likely have a clogged egr port. Remove the EGR valve and clean the ports going to the engine with carb cleaner.
its the hose coming off of the valve cover that's the egr valve
The egr valve is located on the top rear of the engine. It bolts on and is easily removed.
according to the emissions label it does not have an EGR valve.
The egr valve is located on the top of the engine on the right hand side
where abouts is a egr valve in a 02 avensis d4d
It does not have one
It is probably your EGR valve causing the check engine light. I recently bought a used 1997 Toyota Celica and had this exact problem. The new valve cost approximately $85 and fixed the problem right away.
There is no EGR valve on an Aspire.
On my Toyota engine it's to the right of the intake manifold.
Looking into the engine bay, it's on the right side of the engine. It's got about a 1/2" line coming out of that goes into the intake. This needs Improvement- 04wilsonm
