Its obvious that you'd take the old one out first. The problem is how. Can someone please provide the details. I don't have a manual w/my Toyota and can't figure out how to open up the compartment where the air filter is. Thank you. I would advise you to get an owner's manual. You need this for the maintenance schedule on your ride. Dealer, E-Bay, Salvage Yard, are sources. You can also find them on-line. Search with Google using the term "Automobile Owner's Manual" If it is like my 01 celica gt, you should be able to release four tension clips on the sides of the air filter box and lift off the top of the air filter housing, remove the old filter, then replace the new one. Be careful to make sure to fully close the air filter housing when done, or you could turn your check engine light on if you allow too much air to pass through the housing.

At least on a 2003 Venture, there is a door in the back of your glove box that opens where the air filter is at to change.
Remove the top to the air filter housing. The air filter housing can be found in the engine compartment. The air filter will easily lift out. Put the new air filter in.
Directly above the battery, right side of the engine compartment. It's inside the black air-filter-box. At least it's like that on my Celica.
You don't - there is none.
