First you will need to go to a Hyundai/Kia or Mitsubishi dealer for the fluid. Use only SP-3 fluid or you will ruin the transmission! It will take about 3-4 quarts. Jack up the vehicle and you will find a 17mm drain plug on the transmission. Drain out the old fluid and replace plug. Remove the bolts attaching the transmission pan. I believe they are 10mm. Pull off the pan and carefully scrape off any gasket material. There are a few screws that hold the filter in. Remove the filter and put new one in. Install new gasket and put pan back on. Refill fluid and check level.

That is a good question. I do not know if MY Hyundai Accent 4 Cylinder Auto with dual range transmission has an internal filter.
No, it does not have a filter. My daughter just had her tranny oil drained/changed and was surprised to hear that it does not have a filter. Weird.
The automatic transmission filter is in the transmission. It has an internal filter just like it has an internal gas filter in the gas tank.
