I am installing a 4.5 inch lift on a Cherokee will i need extras driveshafts and etc or can i just toss it in and go?

If you are changing the height of the vehicle and not the length you may be able to keep the same drive shaft. However if you change the height by too much, you may have to get a longer drive shaft. Try it with the shaft you have after the kit is installed and then you will know if you need to change your shaft.

How do you replace a Renault Megane Scenic drive shaft gaiter?

In order to replace a Renault Megane Scenic drive shaft gaiter, a boot kit can be purchased. This kit not only includes all needed parts including the required lubrication but also a step by step guide to replace the boot. Installation includes splitting the drive shaft and repacking the bearings so proceed with caution.

Why is the drive shaft in vehicles inclined?

Usually this is due to an aftermarket lift kit or something similar in which the drive shaft from the transmission, which is with the body of the car, needs to go to the differential in between the wheels. the lift kit puts more space in between the body of the vehicle and the wheels. The driveshaft a lot of times is a little longer than stock on these vehicles as well.

Is there anything to align when replacing a clutch in a 98 Frontier 2wd or is it straight forward?

there is a tool that aligns the clutch disc with the pilot bushing to center it so that the input shaft will line up with the splines in the disc and pilot bushing. These are usually included with the kit which should include the tool, disc pressure plate, pilot bushing, throwout bearing, maybe spline grease. Also, lube the end of input shaft (go easy on the grease) and throwout bearing ball pivot and throwout bearing sleeve(what it rides on). Also when installing new bushing, don't use a punch to install or you will pean over edges and play hell getting input shaft in (use driver tool). Don't get any grease on the disc. Have flywheel resurfaced.

u have to pull the driveshaft knock out the seal and install a new one, but if it is leaking the bushing needs to be replaced and u would need a bushing driver to install it. u can purchace a seal and bushing kit but the bushing is harder to replace

How do you replace a Renault 5 drive shaft gaiter?

Most shaft gaiters are available in a two part kit. The two halves are placed around the shaft and then glued together. I was astounded when my garage replaced a split gaiter in about ten minutes, after I had spend days trying to find a special tool to stretch the gaiter over the end of the shaft !!
