Actually the EGR position sensor is one of the more simple devices to change.
It is on the head, on the drivers side.
The EGR valve is about 3 to 4 inches diameter, and you should see a vacuum line or electrical line between it and a small device that looks suspiciously like a small solenoid. That's the position sensor. It just bolts in and the connections unplug, real simple.
