You'll have to discharge the system then raise the car and put it on jack-stands. You've got two fittings on it, you hold the stationary one and loosen the other fitting. Once you separate the pipe, you'll have to use a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the orifice tube(expansion valve) out of the tube. Put in your new one, put it all back together and refill the system.
Do not listen to the answer above it is wrong answer. An orfice tube is not the same as the expansion valve. An expansion valve is a block valve so therefore you cannot take a pair of needle nose pliers to pull it out. The expansion valve is in a box where the eveporator and heater box. In order to change it you need to pull it out under the dash(passengers side) then put it all back together.
