1. Buy aftermarket radio of choice. 2. Remove plastic trim around old radio and air control.3. Unbolt old radio housing and undo wiring harness in back along with the antena wire. 4. Pull out old radio cpmpletly and keep in a col dry place.5. Go to Walmart and find wiring harness for gm vehicles that have 1996 Corsica listed on back. Also get a dash board kit the matches the Corsica. 6. Get wiring harness out of new radios box and match up the wires according to both the wiring harnesses manuals. 7. Outside your car or in ur seat( basically it doesn't have to be connected to your car) Use wire twist caps or a wire crimp connector set to conect wires from after market radios harness to wallmart one.( buy a crimp set with crimp pliers while your at the mart. Helped me a lot)8. When all conneections are made good and secure attach the walmart end harness( plastic female part) to the cars plastic adapter already in car. 9. Place dashboard kit in and attach it according to direction ( kinda tricky) 10. Place after market radio in with its sleve on and attach last avialbe harness to bqck of new radio and plug in antena 11. Put trim back on and stay it all in place.12. Voilà your done!

To install an aftermarket stereo in a 2003 Montana you need to first buy a trim plate or a mounting bracket. Remove the dash panel. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Remove the factory stereo. Unplug the factory wiring harness from the radio. Connect the new radio. Test it and reassemble the dash. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
Could be the factory amp had more power than the aftermarket unit most are around 45-50 watts or so they clam. But I'm sure these are overrated as well.
no you do not. not even if you have the rockford fosgate package. you just wire up the aftermarket harness(95+ nissan) make sure you connect the blue/white wire. that will turn on the factory amp.
Sometimes you have to cut the dash hole bigger. I suggest you take it to aomeone willing to tackle it.
who says you can't? I replaced the stereo myself on my 93 ford explorer with an aftermarket stereo with no problem.
Remove the retaining cover from your factory stereo. Remove the factory stereo retaining bolts. Slide the factory stereo out. Remove the wiring harness and the antenna cable from the back of the factory stereo.
Try the dealerships first. If you are putting in an aftermarket stereo I would recommend purchasing a connection adaptor. Thes allow you to plug your aftermaket stereo right into your factory harness without having to change or cut any of the factory wiring. They are available from most car audio retailers and larger electronics stores. They sell for $15 to $20 and are extremely simple to use.
in most cases, it is cheaper to buy an aftermarket stereo than it is to try and repair a factory one.
Remove the 2002 Dodge Durango factory stereo decorative cover. Remove the factory stereo retaining screws. Pull the factory stereo out. Remove the wiring harness and the antenna cable from the back of the stereo.
