Well we just completed front brake pads on my 1995 yesterday. First make sure you have plenty of JB Blaster (bolt breaker spray) as most of the bolts under your truck will probably be rusted together. Pop your hood and loosen the cap on your brake cylinder(leave it sitting on top so no crap can get in there.)Next, take your tire off and spray bolt blaster on the on your caliper bolts. Be careful not to get spray or anything on your rotors. Let it soak in. After that take the two bolts holding your caliper on off. In order to get your caliper off you can take a big flat head screw driver and carefully wedge it in the inside of the rotor/brake pad. What you are doing is putting pressure on the caliper to draw the pistons back in. Once you get the caliper off you can use a block of wood and a c clamp to force the pistons back down. Do one at a time. Now the cradle that holds the caliper in has two 15/16 or something close to that bolts holding it in position over the rotor. Do not attempt to remove these unless you aptsolutely have two (I broke one of the heads right off trying!) What you are going to need is a pin and bushing kit $16.99 per seat from auto zone. Get two sets. You will see these two pins on the cradle they are supposed slide in and out with the brake caliper. I wouldn't be surprised if yours are siezed. (This was a very poor Nissan design.) You will want to spray plenty bolt buster on this pin. Take the screw out (it is located on back of the pin). Then you may need to apply heat to the pin. Take some vice grips and wiggle the pin up and down until it comes out. (There are two pins per side) After you get it out, clean all the rust out of the hole. Maybe use emery cloth on a drill bit. Put the new rubber bushing on and then lube up the pin and slide it back in. Finally secure it with the screw that threads in it. You will notice on these shoulder pins there are flat spots on the head. These will line up with the calipers. Next clip your new brake pads into the caliper and then put back together. When you are all finished slowly pump your brake pedal a couple of times. (Keep in mind the cover is off on your master cylinder.) Once you feel the brake pedal getting stiffer, check your brake fluid and put the cap back on. Hopefully this helps you Ryan
