remove starter,remove convertor assembly(exhaust) drain oil and the pan will come out once bolts are removed jack it up or drive on ramps. first disconnect the battery then split the exhaust just after the manifold on both sides of the v 6 disconnecting the nox and O2 sensors along the way. then pull off the starter and dust shield on the bell housing. the oil and filter are next then the oil pan. clean surfaces then silicone the new pan on and assemble in reverse order with the oil filter and oil last.
The oil pan must be removed to gain access to the pump.

you will have to remove your oil pan on your tranny change your filter and gasket befor re installing oil pan replace the oil with a funnel at your dipstack 6 or more quarts (not pints) of oil drive safe

Well first the actual gasket is located in the oil pan so you have to drop the oil pan buts its not that easy as you think usually theres others parts and wires proably on top so i suggets you have a mechanic do it.
