remove starter,remove convertor assembly(exhaust) drain oil and the pan will come out once bolts are removed jack it up or drive on ramps. first disconnect the battery then split the exhaust just after the manifold on both sides of the v 6 disconnecting the nox and O2 sensors along the way. then pull off the starter and dust shield on the bell housing. the oil and filter are next then the oil pan. clean surfaces then silicone the new pan on and assemble in reverse order with the oil filter and oil last.
The oil pan must be removed to gain access to the pump.

The oil pump is bolted to the bottom of the engine block INSIDE the oil pan on a 1995 Ford Windstar V6 engine
first you have to put the vehicle in the air. Then you need to remove the oil drain plug to drain out the oil and then remove the filter and unbolt the pan.
It is inside the oil pan on the bottom of the engine block.

Remove the oil pan, purchase a new one with a gascet set, and put it on in the same way as the other one came off.
You will need to drop the oil pan to change the oil pan on a Hummer 2. The oil pan is located in inside the oil pan. You also need to first drain the oil pan of the old oil before you drop the pan.
Drain the oil from your 1996 Chevy Lumina oil pan. Remove the oil pan retaining bolts. The oil pan will come off.
