The parking brake light stay lit on the 1999 Mitsubishi Montero sport the parking brake is working and you have not put the light off.
you'll need to pop off the grease cap then remove the snap ring to get the hub off to get the rotor off.

Remove the tire and wheel from your 1997 Mitsubishi Montero. Remove the brake shoe assembly. Tap on the rotors to loosen them. The rotors will slide off. Reverse the process to install your new rotors.
Look at the upper end of the brake pedal under dash area
Lift up your cart using jack stands for safety. Remove the wheel and take the brake hose off of the caliper body. Remove the two pins that secure the caliper to the bracket and pull of your rotor.
Remove the tire and wheel from your Mitsubishi. Remove the brake spring and the brake caliper. The brake shoes will come off. Reverse the process to install your new brake shoes.
You will need a hoist, a socket wrench set and a torque wrench. You will also need the brake pads, brake fluid and brake grease.?æ
there are plastic covers over them on the inside of the trunk that you pop off
