its easy to do.only do ONE wire at a time.take off ONLY one wire, then put the same size new wire on.clip it into the same places the old wire was.then do one more.and then another, then another till your done.its a good time to change the plugs too.but do it the same way.ONLY ONE PLUG AND WIRE AT A TIME! ask the parts salesman how to [gap] the plugs, its importent to gap the new plugs ,and also easy to do. take your time.
I own a 2006 3.7L grand Cherokee and my tune up consists of spark pug replacements (6) for me, differential fluid change, ATF fluid change (no flush), and PCV. If you have a transfer case you will need to change that as well. good luck!
I know my Jeep GC has "coil on plug" ignition, so there aren't traditional spark plug wires, just low voltage.
Give it a tune up. Change the spark plugs and wires..
My bet it is the spark plug wires or spark plugs or rotor cap if it has one. If the wires are going bad, they are worse "under load" (while driving).
check the spark plug wires and the distributor cap wires
No. The spark plugs are all in line (assuming you've got a v6). There are a few bolts to the left of the block, take them out, disconnect the electrical harness and pull.
Are you referring to spark plug wires
Change the spark plugs and wires... Change the spark plugs and wires...
Ok, I have figured it out. The coil is putting off what looks to be a good spark, but It is not strong enough to go through the gap between the cap and rotor to get back to the wires. I replaced it and it works!!
The spark plug wires on your 1994 Chevrolet Caprice are quite easy to change. The spark plug wires simply lift off on each end. Put the new spark plug wires on and push until you feel a click.
You should have C.O.P. ( coil on plug) there are no wires.
No. However, newer plug wires can be extremely difficult to remove without damaging them.
