The way i did it, i went and got the starter and jacked up the front ,just remember to unhook your battery and remember which wires are which when you undo them from the solenoid. Theres not much room to work, but be patient and it can be done. At times it can be a pain to get the started back up in the spot ,take your time and you can do it. I didn't even know what a starter looked like until i bought one and then climbed under my car and went' oh, there it is and i just went to work, haha. Hope this helps. bratt

new fuel pump in my 95 grand am se but still not working
There is no relay starter, only a solenoid attach to a right fender where all wires from a positive attach to. The solenoid of 95 is attached to the starter, not on the fender.
My 99 Pontiac Grand AM SE has a tank capacity of about 11 gallons, give or take a few cups!
yes the motor will fit in the car chassis but u might have to change all the wiring harness's because i am pretty sure that, that motor is a 24 valve...but if a 16 valve came out of the 95 and ur putting a 16 valve into the 95 u shouldn't have to change the wiring harnesss
It is fuel Injection. FOR SURE
