It depends greatly on which type of E-mail you have for example:
* Gmail * Hotmail * Yahoo mail * bright.net Most of the time, if you just look at your e-mail adress, for example, person@dominain.com. If you would just type in your dominin in the web address, you can get to the webmail address. Like for this e-mail, it would be www.dominain.com From there you can just log in and you should be able to find your e-mail there using any computer the has internet access.
If you have msn, yahoo, Google or any other internet email, then you should be able to acsess your mail by visiting the website. For example: I have yahoo mail. I go to www.yahoo.co.uk and on any computer, I can get my email there. If you don't have email over the internet, then I don't think there is anyway other way to check them. :(
