look on the side of the trans. for a square bolt. If'n youfind that, leave the car running and undo bolt, unless on the way out it begains to spill out trans. fluid. If'n you get it all the way out, without any fluid, you need fluid.

There is a dipstick, just like the one for oil located just under the main air intake hose on the drivers side engine compartment. Im not 100%, but I believe the fluid needs to be checked with the engine warm, and running.
