you have to get under the car look on the side of the transmission you will see a plug most likely a hex head the car needs to be level remove the plug the fluid should just run out a little if not add just enough that it does

NOPE, manual transmission you usually shouldn't run low on oil in a stick. If you really would like to check you can follow what it says in the owners manual where it says to check it by taking out the filler bolt and see if the oil is level with the filler hole.....

On a manual transmission there should be a flush plug that will directly accept a1/2" ratchet less the socket. Remove this to check manual transmission fluid and to add it. This plug can usually be found on the passenger side of the transmission just being the tire.
