If you remove the Ignition Control Module (ICM) with all 3 coil packs attached, you can bring it into most Auto Zones to have them check all of them for free. If any of them are bad (including the ICM itself), they will tell you. Most of those parts are available for purchase in-store, if needed. I highly recommend using AC Delco ignition componects over the Accel ones. Too many Horror stories about the Accels crapping out in GMs. If you're strapped for cash, most junkyards pull good working used coils off their vehicles. The exact same coils were used in almost every GM V6 from 1988 and up (2.8, 3.1, 3.4, 4.3, 3100, 3400, 3500, 4300, etc.). So there should be plenty to choose from. Hell, I even have 3 spare sets sitting in my shed! ;-)
how many plugs does it have
the gap is 35 assuming you have the 2.0 4 liter

Does it have a miss? check plugs and wires. Also a possibility of a bad throttle position sensor.
To check a cam sensor you can either use a scanner which plugs into the vehicle communication port or use a volt meter and check if the sensor produces a pulse like reading on the meter.
test the temp sensor. Check spark plugs, plug wires, torque convertor. test the temp sensor. Check spark plugs, plug wires, torque convertor.

On the drivers side between the back 2 spark plugs and just a little lower than the plugs
It will be smoking black out of the exhaust / Running RICH. Spark plugs will be fouled out/ Black. Replace them if it is running rich. Plugs will not fix your problem. Replace map sensor.
