The vehicle has to be parked in a level position, preferably on jack stands or a lift because you will have to get under the vehicle. With the engine cool, remove the plug located on the side of the transmission body and stick a finger in through the hole - you should be able to feel the Transmission Fluid. If you can feel the fluid, the transsmission is filled properly. If you can't feel any fluid, add some through the same hole until the fluid is level with the hole. You will probably need a pump to help fill the transmission with fluid.
