Here is how to disinfect a sunbeam hot/cold water dispenser:
1. Google "cleaning a sunbeam water dispenser"
2. Find this site
3. See no answer
Hmmmmm. I wish I knew because that's how I found this site. Looks like we are in the same boat. Bummer.
UPDATE: I just got off the phone with Sunbeam on how to clean their water dispensers/coolers. I have a 3 way (hot, room temp, and cold) and needed to clean it. The woman from costumer service informed me that the company Elite Classics manufacture their water dispensers and she gave me the number directly to the factory (877-383-6399). I called the number and they were very helpful. To clean one of their water dispensers:
1. Unplug the water dispenser. 2. Completely drain the dispenser. 3. Pour in 4 cups of white vinegar. 4. Pour in 8 cups of hot tap water. 5. Leave mix in for 1 hour. 6. Drain 7. Pour in 12 cups of hot tap water or more and drain until the vinegar taste is not longer present.
the instruction manual says you can use white vinegar or milk of magnesia. personally i like the milk of magnesia cause you can tell its all rinsed out as soon as the water is no longer cloudy. im not sure if all sunbeams are like this, but mine has a drain valve on the back. i make sure i run everything through all 3 nozzles and the drain valve to ensure everything inside is clean to the best of my knowledge. also i have used a mild bleach and water mixture and rinsed out with about 10 gallons of water. just have to make sure you run enough water through so no more chemicals are present. you can also get chlorine strips and test the water to make sure all the bleach is out. you can probably get a few strips free from a local restaurant that uses them. or maybe even a pool and spa supply store. they are not expensive.
If it's filthy with dirt, such as one you've purchased used, then the following will be the steps to take before the vinegar/bleach treatment.
1. remove the dispenser seat that the bottle sits on.
2. remove the top of the cooler by taking out the two top screws, in the back, outer-most corners, and popping it off.
3. there is a large plastic ring that sits just under the dispenser ring. turn it counter-clockwise and pull it out.
4. beneath the plastic ring, there will be a flat disc, the same size as the fill cylinder. there is a rib, running across the middle. use this rib to unscrew the disc, and pull it out.
5. remove the next piece that is sitting in the bottom, to completely reveal the fill cylinder. remove the clear rubber gasket from the bottom.
6. clean all pieces, (I cleaned them and then sanitized them with boiling water) fill the cylinder with boiling water, and bleach or vinegar mixture. let sit for an hour. Drain, and rinse til completely clean.
7. reassemble the cooler in reverse order, and you're finished.

The best way to have clean water, is to boil it. Water purifiers are a close second, and although they still clean your water, they are not the best way to have clean water.
A water cooler is a system that is designed to keep water cold for some use. This is done usually through an air cooling radiator system. These water coolers are normally used in cars.
Definitely. Even better than in cooler water.
yes, toilet water is clean it is actually the same water you drink........if its flushed No, it have AIDS in it.
Sometimes people mistakenly refer to a water dispenser as a water cooler. The dispenser simply dispenses water with no change to temperature. The water cooler will cool the water as well. If you have one that is supposed to cool the water but isn't then there is likely a problem with the compressor.
Sunbeam Hot Shot Hot Water Dispenser is similar to a coffee maker, except it dispenses hot water. They are available for purchase at Bed Bath and Beyond and Office Depot.
To clean a water cooler dispenser, remove all filters and run 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide diluted with 11 times as much water through the dispenser. It is necessary to use food grade hydrogen peroxide as it does not contain the harmful stabilizers contained in regular 3% hydrogen peroxide. The dilution step is necessary because otherwise the peroxide will be too caustic.
A dishwasher since it has to clean a whole bunch of plates while a sink dispenses less.
The Brita water cooler has hot and cold taps which allow a person to choose the right temperature for himself/herself. Additionally, this water cooler also has filters which make the water clean.
To clean a Sunbeam hot and cold water dispenser you could use vinegar or milk of magnesia. Make sure it is unplugged before cleaning and completely drain the dispenser. Pour in around 4 cups of vinegar or milk of magnesia and 8 of hot water and leave for an hour. Afterwards make sure all traces of vinegar/milk of magnesia are absent by using more hot water.
Several brands are great for this purpose such as Sunbeam and Rubbermaid, but the main thing is you want to look for good, cold ice to cool your items.
The best quality portable water cooler you are likely to find any where is a Brita system. They're pretty cheap but are very effective in keeping your water cold and clean.
You shouldn't have to clean the interior unless the turbo failed. Like the exterior it can be cleaned with hot soapy water or a hose.

The 'netted sunbeam' refers to the sunbeam which seems to get trapped in the water due to sandy 'swallows'. Its reflected rays form a kind of flashing net. As it sways it seems to dance in its trap.
when trigger pulled it sucks water from the storage area and dispenses it out the nozzle
