How do you clean or replace the cabin air filter in a 2004 VW Passat?

I believe if you look in the engine compartment up under the dash/windshield area you will spot a box looking thing and that's the cabin air flilter, if my memory serves me right. Good luck. If you are a clever girl or in need of help guy, you could go into the VW parts department and ask the guy behind the counter where it's located. Don't go into service and ask 'cause they work on commission and they want to charge you $120/hour to check and them etc. If you get my drift. I always have my way with the parts department 'cause they want to be hero's for the girls and big brother for the guys. Very cool.
