the wheel speed sensor is all part of the wheel bearing hub assembly you cannot clean them you have to replace the hub assembly its not that hard of a job gm cars are known for this problem.

Yes, the 2004 Chevy Impala SS does have a governor chip that limits its top speed. This chip is factory installed and limits the speed to just over 100 mph.
Need to know if you have a single speed or two speed wiper motor.
If I am correct top speed around 160-170 i think
they get about 12 in town 16 on the road with a 4 speed.

The blower motor speed resister is burned out. This part is available from your local auto parts store.
It does not have a governor. Speed is controlled by the computer ECU which you cannot remove nor reprogram.
speed sensors are located on front hubs remove the wheel and you will see what looks like a serated disk the sensors are located adjacent to these These sensors are for the ABS and do not control the speedometer. The vehicle speed sensor is somewhere on the transmition or transfer case. Exactly where I am also trying to find out.
It does not have a CABLE. It is controlled by the speed sensors / computer controlled.
There is a problem with your wheel speed sensors. This is common.
