Odd question! Out? If you mean blown, or burnt out, use the key and starter. It should make no difference except you can't go anywhere. If you mean out, as in, push in the clutch pedal. This is how you should always start your car. You may be having a problem with the safety switch on the clutch pedal. Most cars have had these since 1969! You may be having some other problem.
