To dial a mobile phone when it is overseas, dial exactly the same number you would if that mobile phone were at home.
I'm assuming that you are trying to call an Irish mobile phone that is currently physically located in Spain. You dial the number exactly the same way you do when the mobile is at home in Ireland. If you are in Ireland, just dial the number beginning with 086; otherwise, replace 086 with +353 86. (On a mobile phone, dial the plus symbol; otherwise, replace it with the appropriate international dialing prefix for the place you are calling from.)
All mobile numbers in Ireland start with 08. To dial one from Northern Ireland you dial 00 353 and then drop the zero and dial the rest of the number starting at the 8. So if the number was 089 999 9999 you would dial 00 353 89 999 9999.
Dial Tone
dial 1744 on your mobile phone. if you would like your balance to come up on the screen dial 1745 from your mobile phone.
Mobile phone numbers in the Republic of Ireland all start with 08. The international dialling code is 353. You would then drop the first zero on the mobile number and add the international access code at the very beginning, like 00 or 1, depending on what country you are dialling from. So to dial a number such as 089 999 9999 you would dial the international access code from your country and then 353 89 999 9999.
To call an English mobile that is roaming in another country, dial the English mobile number exactly the same way you would if the mobile were in England. English mobile numbers begin with +44 74 through +44 79. On a GSM mobile, enter the number in international format, beginning with the plus sign. Otherwise, replace the plus sign with your international access prefix (most commonly 00, but many countries use other prefixes. Australia uses 0011 and other prefixes.).
All Northern Ireland mobile numbers start with 07. What you do is dial the international dialling code, which is 0044 and then drop the first zero of the mobile number and then starting with the 7, dial the rest of the number. So if the number was 07999999 then you would dial 0044 7999999.
The service that the company "Dial A Fone" (or as the company have it, Dial-A-Phone) provides is that they are an independent mobile phone retailer in the United Kingdom.
Depends in what country. In the US and Canada, *67 blocks sending your Caller ID from either a landline or a mobile phone. Dial *67 before any other codes or prefixes. In the UK and Ireland, dial 141 before the number. If your number is blocked by default but you want to unblock it temporarily, you dial *82 (US/Canada) or 1470 (UK/Ireland). Other countries have other prefixes or codes for blocking or unblocking Caller ID.
In general, you will always have a dial tone when you are calling from a landline phone, but never from a mobile phone.
Well I am from the United States and have been in Ireland for a month now. The way that we have to call out here is to dial 001 first. So maybe you could try dialing that...Good luck! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Some Aussie feedback here - Dial: 0011 353 then the mobile number. For example, mobile network 'three' was assigned +353 83 xxxxxxx for all its Irish mobile services in July 2005. If you are still having problems, give your telco a ring and they may assist. Happy Dialling !
