By wearing your seat belt.
Buckle your seat belt.
get an old seatbelt from a junk yard and plug in into the seatbelt soquit
plug the seatbelt in.. the warning stops then ;-)
Put on your seatbelt. It it is still chiming with your belt on, take it back to the dealer for repair. It is under warranty.
Buckel your seatbelt and it will go off. If it is not going off with your seatbelt buckled, then take it to the dealer for repair.
THIS DID NOT WORK ON MY 2007 CAMRY..ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS??
Don't do it! There are possibly other circuits connected to the junction terminal where the chime is powered from. You could lose dash and/or tail lights.
You can disable the seatbelt warning chime, in your Honda CRV, by removing the fuse. The fuse can be found in the fuse box in the engine compartment.
To state the obvious - wear the seatbelt. There are reasons to disable the chime. 1. Turn key to accessories "on" 2. Wait for seatbelt light to turn off and then press the seatbelt release button 9 times. 3. The abs light then illuminates for 5 seconds, when it turns off, press the seatbelt release button 1 more time. 4. The abs light will blink to confirm the code was entered. 5. This must also be done on the passenger seat.
Under the driver seat is a wiring harness plug for the seatbelt just unplug it mine is an ext cab so it's easy to get to not sure on regular cab
