You don't. They are there to provide visibility to others. They werre engineered in and the electrical system can handle the load. If you just want to disable the headlights for a few minutes, for example, while in a dark driveway, pull the handbrake up slightly. The daytime lights don't turn on when the handbrake is up. Daytime running lights = DRL 1. lower panel above pedals. a. U have to remove plastic attachments to drop panel. 2.U will see drl module on firewall w/ white & black connectors. ( green sticker on top will say "DRL"). 3. Pull only the WHITE connector out. ( make sure you secure it to something so it will not rattle). 4. put panel back in place and secure. 5. no more drl's.
You can pop the switch panel out of the center console and unplug either or both of the switches to disable the seat warmer.

The Legacy subwoofer will really drain your battery. It's not a good idea to run it while you're not running the engine.
