Turn the key on but do not start the truck, Make sure you are parked in a level area and make sure your parking brake is engaged. Then shift the truck into 1st gear and tilt the steering wheel down all the way. This will allow you to remove the dash bezel to get access to the radio. To remove the bezel just pull it out with you hands. But do not pull it out all the way. You have to disconnect the headlight switch, 4wd switches rear wiper and tailgate window release and other switches attached to the bezel first. After making sure that all connectors have been disconnected from the bezel remove it by working around the steering wheel column. This may take some time but your patience will pay off. When the bezel is completely removed you will have complete access to the radio. On the sides of the radio you will find two black tabs, just push down on those and slide the radio unit out. Disconnect all connecting wires behind the radio to free it from the truck and you're done. To reinstall just reverse the process. This sounds more complicating in writing but it's actually very easy to do.
