The easiest way I know of is to disconnect the bottom radiatior hose. Just make sure you have a drip pan in place to catch the antifreeze as it comes out. Antifreeze is highly toxic, and just a small amount can kill dogs and other animals if ingested.
The 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe 5.7 liter engine oil drain plug is a 9/16 drain plug. The oil drain plug has very fine threads.
It is just beneath the lower radiator hose.
follow the upper radiator hose, that should lead you to it.
There is a drain on the lower right of the rad. If you can't get to it, pull the lower hose.

front splash shield has to come off! then you can see the drain on the right bottom of radiator looking at it from front of car. you can use a Allen wrench to loosen the drain plug.
the radiator drain plug is on the bottom right facing car from front. you may have to remove the sheild to get at it. my 2000 malibu uses a allen wrench to loosen the drain plug for the radiator. good-day !
If your referring to the drain plug, it's on the driver side of the radiator on the very bottom facing the front of the car. CCW opens the drain valve and CW closes it.
