How do you drain the transmission oil from a 1998 Caravan 3.3?
You remove the transmission oil pan to drain the fluid on a Dodge Caravan.
With motor warm and the bike upright and level, unscrew the drain plug located directly under the center of the transmission end cover (where the clutch cable goes into the transmission) and drain the oil into a suitable container. The drain plug isn't like a car's plug, it's a small screw that goes into the side of the end cover, not up from the bottom.
Undo the fill plug with whatever sized socket/wrench needed then undo the drain plug with a 3/8" ratchet and drain the old fluid into a container. Retighten the drain plug and refill the transmission with Honda Manual Transmission Fluid or 10w30 motor oil. You will need a way to squirt the oil through the fill hole. Retighten the fill hole and you are set.

If it is below the hole, add oil until it runs out, then reinstall the oil filler plug. # If the transmission oil is dirty, remove the drain plug and drain the oil. # Reinstall…
On most transmissions, you must remove the transmission oil pan to drain the fluid. Some transmission pans on recent vehicles include a drain plug. To drain and refill a typical transmission, the vehicle must be raised on a hoist. After the vehicle is safely in position, place a drain pan with a large opening under the transmission's oil pan.
