Many companies also allow you to access this list on their website. It is common these days to find that different types of drugs have different levels of coverage. For instance, you will often pay more for certain brands than for others. Some companies require 'step-therapy' before paying for some drugs. This means that you must be given a different (generally less expensive) drug first, and they will only pay for the other one if the less expensive one does not work.
