people have been horse back riding seance the 1900s and that is how long people have been horse back riding!!! People have been horseback riding for pleasure ever since it was discovered that horses could be ridden. Though after World War 2 the horse became more of a pleasure animal than a beast of burden.
Horses can be used for working, transportation, riding or just for pleasure. *Working: Horses can be used on farms (for ploughing or pulling carts/wagons). *Transportation: Horses can be used to pull carriages, trains, wagons or cars. They can also carry people or goods, for example in Africa they are frequently used to carry bricks to an from the kilns. *Riding: Horses are used in many forms of riding, including racing, eventing, polo, rodeo, trail, trekking…
Depends on what you train an Appy for. They can be good cow-horses, trail-riding horses, show-jumping horses, rodeo horses for bronc riding, bare-back, calf roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling, etc., therapy horses, for riding lessons, or pleasure riding for your own sake, if you have your own appaloosa.
When you are riding horses, muscles that you never work or use in daily life and even at the gym are used. That is why people who dont regularly ride horses are sore after trail riding at a public place for instance. It is hard for beginners to even mount a horse alone without building up the muscles that you do when riding.
everyone would ride horses if they tried. People that appreciate horses ride them. People that understand if it wern't for horses transport would not be here ride them. The people that ride horses are people that care about all animal lives. So really it depends on how many people like this there are. Quite a lot including me.
