Tools · Socket set or ring spanners · Flat bladed screw driver · Brake caliper compressor (super cheap stores)$20 This will help you remove disc pads # Remove wheel trim and loosen wheel nuts # Jack tire up until its off the ground and remove wheel nuts and place them into wheel trim and remove wheel. # Inspect the disc pads and rotor which are your wheel discs. # Normally you would have the wheel discs machined so they are even before you replace disc pads. # There are two bolts holding the caliper onto the wheel disc, the disc pads are located inside the caliper. # Sometimes you have remove both bolts to remove the caliper and sometimes can remove one bolt and loosen the other bolt and then use a flat bladed screw driver to lift the caliper and flip it open and then you can remove the old discs # Once you remove the old discs pads check the brake reservoir and remove brake fluid if necessary and use a brake caliper compressor inside the caliper to compress the piston until its flat and even, then you place the new disc pads into the caliper and close the caliper back over the wheel disc, you may have to tap it or wriggle it bit to get it back in place. # Once in place return the bolts and tighten, replace wheel and hand tight, lower tire and tighten, replace wheel trim and take car out and test brakes. # If you don't have a brake caliper compressor tool you may have to remove the 2 bolts and the brake fluid hose to remove caliper to place the caliper on a hard surface and tap the piston until its flat, but then replace the discs pads. # but then you will have to bleed all four brakes.
