How do you tighten the fan belt on a corsa 1.2?

If it is a newer corsa (built in the last 12 years or so) if guessing you mean the alternator belt because it doesn't actually have a fan belt as the fan is driven by a electric motor. To tighten the alternator belt is very easy...Just loosen the two or three bolts holding it on (do not take them right out) pull the alternator so that the belt tightens and then tighten the bolts back up. You may need someone to hold the alternator and belt tight whilst you tighten the bolts back up. If the belt still continues to squeal after you have tightened it a couple of times it means the belt needs replacing.

Fan belt replace suzuki?

well if its a 4 cylinder the fan belt has 2 14 mm bolts you have to loosen and a belt tensioner because it has 2 belts if it is a v6 you also have 2 belts ac/PS belt uses a 12mm long wrench and an Allen wrench i belive 10 mm on the alt belt it uses a 12 mm bolt and a torx bolt which doesn;t loosen very easly

How do you change a Serpentine belt on a 2000 Suzuki Vitara with a 2 liter engine?

It's not so hard. Open the bonnet and face the engine. Note the routing of the belt, draw it if you won't remember. There will be a smooth (no grooves) pulley towards the top middle. Below this to the left is another smooth pulley. The belt should run over (on top of) this one. It is the belt tensioner. To loosen the belt, place a wrench or socket at the 12 o'clock position and turn it clockwise about a quarter turn. This moves the tensioner pulley down away from the belt, loosening the belt. Remove the belt. If the belt is not broken, remove it by working it carefully around and below the radiator fan, between the fan and radiator. To put the new belt on work it around the fan in the same way. Route the belt over all the pulleys except the tensioner (using memory or the drawing you made earlier). Again loosen the tensioner using the wrench or socket and slip the new belt over the tensioner pulley. Check the tension.

1992 Chevy Cheyenne 12 ton pickup and there is no gas coming out ot fuel injectors but fuel pump is ok?

If your timing chain/belt is made like the fan belt, there are notches in the belt. If the belt stripped some of those notches, there will be a gap in the belt. That gap causes the engine not to turn over. You will not have fuel flow through the injectors. However, the fuel pump will continue to operate. This same thing happened to me on a Pontiac Lemans.

How do you replace the serpentine belt on a 2002 Suzuki Vitara 4-cylinder?

I belive it has two belts one that drives the fan and one for the alternator the adjuster for the fan is on the right side and you need a 12 or 14mm socket and use a 14mm long wrench or socket and ratchet to move the tensioner

How do you change the alternator belt on a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo?

For 4WD - 3.2L V6 1 REMOVAL - Disconnect the radiator hoses from the engine block. - Remove the upper fan shroud. - Remove the fan assembly from the fan idler shaft. - Slack the "V" belt tensioner hold bolt (front of the pulley) - Slack the "V" belt tensioner pulley bolt (top of the tensioner & pay attention to the jam nuts). - Remove the "V" belt. - Remove the "V" belt tensioner - Slack the A/C grooved belt tensioner hold bolt (front of the pulley) - Slack the A/C grooved belt tensioner pulley bolt (top of the tensioner & pay attention to the jam nuts). - Remove the A/C belt. - Slack the alternator swivel point bolt on alternator top mounting bracket. - Slack alternator tensioner hold bolt (on the lower bracket and clamping the alternator lock block to the bracket). - Slack the alternator grooved belt tensioner (on lower alternator bracket). - Pry alternator toward engine. - Remove the alternator belt, which will dislocate the fan pulley, so remove the fan pulley too. 2 ASSEMBLY of the new alternator belt - Install the new alternator belt and also the fan pulley on the fan idler shaft flange. Make sure the fan shaft studs are located in the 12 - 3 - 6 - 9 configuration and install a temp nut with dummy washers to hold the fan pulley in place. - Pry the alternator away from the engine. - Tighten the alternator tensioner hold bolt system in reverse order as you disassembled it. - Tighten the alternator grooved belt tensioner so that the belt still has about 5mm movement when you push it down in the middle between the two most extreme pulleys. - From here work in reverse order from the disassembly stage. - When getting to the point the fan has to be assembled, remove the nut and the dummy washers, the pulley will stay in place. - Continue in reverse order. - When everything is tight and secure, hoses included, fill up with 50/50 antifreeze and check for leaks.

How do you replace the serpentine belt on a 2001 Suzuki Vitara 4cyl?

Hello,I found this question while searching for an answer to the very same problem after the belt broke. To replace it is really easy (once you discover how to do it!). Once you open the hood and face the engine, you will see to wheels without grooves. The one on your left is the one that tense the belt. To loosen the belt, just place a wrench at the 12 position and turn it clockwise to, say about 3 o'clock. That will move the wheel down and will release the pressure on the belt. To put a new one, just do the same. Please note that to remove the old belt (if it is not broken) or to place the new one IT IS NOT necessary to remove the small belt that you see attached to the radiator fan, just go with the new belt around and below the fan (between the fan and the radiator).Have fun!!!JoseIt all depends on the setup though. REMOVALDisconnect negative (-) cable at battery.Loosen adjusting bolt (1) and pivot bolt (2).Slacken belt by displacing fan pulley.Remove cooling fan. Just detach the fan/clutch from fan pulley.Remove cooling fan belt (3).INSTALLATIONInstall belt to fan pulley and crankshaft pulley.Install cooling fan.Adjust belt tension as specified.Tighten adjusting bolt and pivot bolt.Connect negative (-) cable at battery.Log Out | HelpUNIVERSAL TECHNICAL INSTITUTESelect Vehicle | New TSBs | Technician's ReferenceComponent Search:Conversion Calculator 2001 Suzuki Truck Vitara JLS (2Dr) 2WD L4-2.0LVehicle Level Engine, Cooling and Exhaust Engine Drive Belt Service and Repair AlternatorAlternatorGenerator BeltREMOVALWARNING: Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery before removing and installing generator belt.Loosen tensioner by turning the tensioner pulley (2) clockwise. While holding the tensioner and belt loose, remove generator belt (1).INSTALLATIONLoosen tensioner by turning the tensioner pulley (2) clockwise. While holding the tensioner, install generator belt (1).
